Driving License Category A1
Driving License Category A1 is a permit to drive two-wheeled motorized vehicles. It permits you to ride mopeds or small motorcycles with engines that have no more than 11 kW.

Prerequisites
You need to be at minimum 16 years old in order to obtain a driving licence category A1. This licence allows the driver to drive a light motorcycle, while A2 and A are reserved for larger motor vehicles. You also must complete a first aid course and complete a theoretical education in accordance with the entire syllabus. Various driving schools offer this course. Prices may differ, but all of them follow the same curriculum.

Practical test

You can also drive a three-wheel motor vehicle (trike) with this licence provided that it has an engine capacity of 125 cc or more and a power/weight relationship of no more than 15 kW per kilogram.
Before you can obtain your license, you will be required to pass a medical test. You also need to show proof of a first aid course and pass an eye test. If you are younger than 18, you must have the consent of your parent or legal guardian to apply for a driving license.
